I have to say congrats to the Oilers. Now we'll see if the Flames can avoid choking in game 7.

spring pics may have been premature- as we woke up to and inch on snow this am. Crazy world - 23 degrees one day and snow almost then next!

Hey - we have more nice old buildings than that! The hotel Mac, Rutherford house, Old Arts, the three sisters (Pembina, Athabasca and Assiniboia halls) for a start... you just have to remember to look! Also, I don't think the grey wall was really designated. I think that's one of our many stencil graffitti artists having us on.

I prefer to believe it's a legislated grey wall. Because how cool is that?! Don't ruin my happy illusions...

I think Steph is right, at least only in so far as the edict is self-defeating.

Congratz to your Oilers! That's two Canadian teams (and counting!) through to the next round. Me, I'm cheering for Montreal . . . I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a winning goal in the third period. Loved your pics by the way - if I visit Edmonton I'll make sure to see your one nice building. haha!
