I just found the cutest possible hat at Next (where I was hoping instead to find nice jeans in petite sizes, but those hopes were dashed. All sold out of the good ones in my size).

Evidence for this statement is as follows:

I will now wear this hat all the time, provided I remember to put it on, until such time as I forget and leave it on a bus or something. The little brooch on one side is a nice touch, no?
