I gotta say that Dad at his most gruff is pretty contagious. Many is the time in a day that I catch myself channelling Dad. Also- how did some one get a tote from your cart? Weren't you watching? What a person should do is find an organization that is giving them away. or look at Mom and Dad's. I bet they have a couple they aren't using.

It's a good time to do some volunteering! Due to our t-shirt projects, I'm also extra motivated to volunteer when there's a T-shirt perk ;) I'll have to clean out my closet and see if I have any cloth bags from those days. Is this related to buying groceries without having to use plastic bags?

Lana: As a special thank-you for volunteering at our casino, I'll be pleased to present you with a very nice brown-t-shirt!

Good work anne. I didn't think you were paying attention to all those valuable life lessons. As for bags, the Co-op here sells huge ones, that when loaded I can hardly lift, for $1. The Co-op bags also roll up and have a snap closure for storage .I will be in Edmonton on the week of the 26th-let me know if you want some. We have been attempting to use cloth bags also- I hate bringiing those plastic ones home-(at least more than we need for garbage bags)

Valuable life lessons? Is THAT what those were?? Lana, I will come along to a volunteer project or two, especially if bags or shirts are involved. But not Steph's. Brown's not my colour.

Haha. You better watch out for Value Village Villans. (I hear they're trying to join the mafia!)
