I particularly like the Adriana sandal, myself.. which ones did you get?

I got the Adelle in Splendid Black. Adrianna had too many straps for me - though they are nice as well.

Where do you get these shoes? I quite like Kelly.

I got mine at Wener shoes on Jasper Ave (just checked: 10322 Jasper). They carry only the good brands and have some really cute shoes (but I did have to restrict myself to one pair of good walking sandals... for now...)

I've seen that store and had good intentions of going in... maybe now I'll actually make it, since ALL of my shoes are trashed.

You are starting to sound like you aunt Judith. Why do you need all these shoes I ask. You only wear one pair at a time, One for Church, one for normal wear, and a pair to slip on for the relaxing time.

Well, speaking for myself, I actually don't even have three pairs of non-holey shoes!

I agree with Steph- dad's overdoing it. Two feet, two shoes, no more or less.

Steph - 2006-04-13 17:42:09
Gee, Will, do they even have to match?

Geoff - 2006-04-14 00:13:39
Steph/Will- you are, of course corect. I don't know what got into me saying 3 pairs. It must stem from holidaying with the shoemiester herself- scary to think that I may have been affected with some terrible shoe desire disease.

I think I may have expressed myself unclearly. While I do not, in fact, have more than one pair of intact shoes, this is not to say I do not desire more than one pair. I believe this stems from trying to wear my heavy, petrified-mud encrusted winter/hiking boots bicycling, ballroom dancing, to board meetings, etc. Though I must admit that the boots do provide a certain measure of increased safety when dancing with beginners. THEY may never dance again, but at least I'll be fine.

I've just happened upon your blog and have been reading some of the Edinburgh entries. Very interesting to read what a Canadian thinks of our city. I live just down the road and round a couple of corners from Murrayfield Golf Club. I'll be back!

thanks for the comment, Isabelle! In case you couldn't tell, I miss Edinburgh like mad. Nice to hear from someone in those parts...
