I did that test while working for Ontario Power. There's a certain comedy in giving a room full of engineers the test in so far as they all, with some exceptions, came out with the same cliched profile. I think I was ESTP, but very light on the E/S.

I'm ISFJ, apparently we make good nurses. Thanks heavens, what if i was wasting all this time to become one? I'd have to quit

Annie: sounds right to me, I have never done the M-B, but we have done the same type test in Mngmt courses at work. I had trouble seeing myself, but could easily identify traits in co-workers. I think you are logical, analytical and (like my other daughter) super critical. I think that the quiet and reserved part is pre-scotch. The test we did checked your normal response, and also response under pressure. I would like to try it again, as I think the "response under pressure" may have changed.

Our workplace was a little stereotyped as well. A grand total of two Fs, one of whom is the receptionist. Loads of Ts and Ss. Not quite as bad as engineers, but getting there.

I can well imagine what Dad's profile would be like under pressure- heavy on the critical and light on the feeling, I think!

Anne..a girl after my own heart! You know how much I love the Myers-Briggs. Hmm..it seems you are not the INFP that I think we'd worked out back in Scotland :) So...you're a pretty rare type, take heart in knowing that there are v. few who think like you, which makes you pretty unique!

i can't believe nobody has commented on the little bit you snuck in about having a hot tub. Did you tell me that? I haven't been over yet why? I've bought hotels on trips just based on whether or not they had a hot tub. I need to rest my aching back, anne!! (note: most of this message is to be taken with the appropriate amount of sarcasm because i'm just commenting for the sake of commenting, as it is the first time i've done so.)
