I just read something in the paper about mice killing. It was not approving of using poison etc. What was the murder weapon? Also reminds me of a friend of mine who had mice, put out poison, then had a terrible time feeling awful remorse about the mouse/mice. I commiserated as I will end up dying chained to a tree on the West Coast rainforest. Tree hugger, animal lover, though not a member of PETA. By the way I saw a bird die the other day and felt guilt as I startled it and it flew into a window. yes, I was raised in BC.

More importantly--did you get my car to a safe location ???

I did not do an autopsy, but I'm assuming poison as the mouse was lying by itself in the middle of the floor. I don't like the idea of poison much either, and I think I'd rather have live mice in the walls than decomposing ones. (Although I suppose they would have died of natural causes eventually anyway...)

and I ditched the car at 73rd and 111 St, where I'm assuming it can safely stay till I manage to get a parking permit.

Did you say salsa dancing?! Sounds totally cool. Glad to hear you weren't holed up completely due to the snow. Feelings of wanting to hibernate again... ugh. Stay healthy!

Steph: are you suggesting a link between dead mice and taco buns ?? Maybe the mouse died while salsa dancing

In my experience the mice just dry out in our climate. Not that I would want to test the theory. And, more importantly, what kind of red wine?

Hmm, well, Anne survived the combination of taco buns and salsa dancing... maybe the mouse just OD'd...

Don't worry, Matt, I took your advice and got the wine with the cute kitty on the bottle! (el gato negro). Tried the Rosemount as well, which was nice. As for the mice, I may try constantly playing salsa music in an effort to dance them to death...

I want the taco bun recipe too. And then I want someone to come to my house to make them for me.
